What is the Chevening Scholarship?

The Chevening Scholarship is a fully-funded scholarship program funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and partner organizations. The scholarship is awarded to excellent students with leadership potential from around the world. The scholarship allows students to pursue one-year master’s degrees at any university in the United Kingdom.

Who can apply for Chevening Scholarships?

The Chevening Scholarship is open to students from all countries except the United Kingdom. Students must have an excellent academic record and have an interest in leadership.

Number of Scholarships Offered: 1,500 Chevening Scholarships are awarded to international students every year.

List of Universities Offering the Scholarship: Chevening Scholarships are offered by all 140 universities in the United Kingdom.

Eligibility for Chevening Scholarship

To be eligible for a Chevening Scholarship, students must meet the following criteria:

• Students must be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country.
• Students must have excellent academic achievements.
• Students must have a minimum of two years of work experience.
• Students must demonstrate leadership potential.

How to apply for Chevening Scholarships?

The application process for the Chevening Scholarship is online. Applicants must apply along with the following documents:

• A personal statement
• Two letters of recommendation
• Proof of English language proficiency
• An updated Resume/CV

Step 1: Create an account on the Chevening website and fill out the application form.

Step 2: Answer all the questions in the application form and upload the mentioned documents.

Step 3: Submit your application before the deadline and wait for the results.

Step 4: If you are selected as a Chevening Scholar, you will be invited to an interview.

Step 5: If you are successful in your interview, you will be awarded a Chevening Scholarship.
