How to Get a UK Work Visa

What are the Requirements to Get a Work Visa in the UK

  • Tier 2 work visa forms the base for the UK points-based system for managed migration of skilled workers.
  • The UK's points-based system requires a skilled worker seeking to migrate to the UK to score 70 points.
  • You can get a long-term visa or a short-term visa to the UK; for that, the following are the requirements:
    • Certificate of Sponsorship' reference number given by employer
    • Aged above 18 years and proof of age
    • Confirmed employment offer from a licenced UK employer
    • Education - Class 12 or equivalent (minimum)
    • English language proficiency skills (IELTS, 5 bands in each
    • module)
    • 8-10 years of prior work experience in your chosen industry
    • Security clearance certificate
    • Proof of capability to sustain yourself and your family financially without public funds
    • Job title and annual salary
    • Occupation code of job
    • Detailed travel itinerary
    • Certified translation of any document not in English.
